Our family gift this year was the piano. Makena started taking lessons and she started on a little organ that we have. Now we have a nice piano that she (and everyone else) can play on. We also got a kitty (named Skippy) for Christmas. The girls were excited and it should be a new adventure for our family. The girls also got very pretty nightgowns from their grandma Cardon.
Everyone was having a great time decorating gingerbread houses. There was more candy than the eye could behold. Some took this very seriously and others just had fun with it. Some got very creative. It was a lot fun and we thank our hosts for inviting us and putting it on (they made around 20 homemade gingerbread houses for everyone).
Rylee's Kinder performance was Twas the Night Before Christmas. They all dressed in their jammies and sang Christmas songs. They did sign language to all the songs. Merry Christmas!
Ciara got to see Santa at preschool. (If I knew how to blog better, I would have this bottom picture be at the top.) This was her face as Santa walked into the room. Then they had a good chat. She said that she wanted a baby doll with clothes and a bottle (don't we already have enough baby dolls???) Then they took a great picture together!
