Camping in the Backyard

We started off the night by having tin foil dinners which turned out soooo yummy! We then made smores which the everyone loves! Randy and the girls headed out to the tent while Thane and I decided it would be best to sleep inside... :) Everyone had a good time and we got to try out our new tent. It worked wonderfully.

Fiesta

They have a holiday here in San Antonio called "Fiesta". The kids get a day off of school and everyone parties. The girls all wore their flower head decor to celebrate.

Easter 2009

Thane's "babies"

We have a hole in the ground in our front yard where our water meter is. Somehow, when it rains hard here in San Antonio toads mysteriously appear in this hole (they disappear the same way). Thane checks the hole on a daily basis to see if there are toads in there. He LOVES holding and playing (torturing I am sure) with these toads. He calls them "babies". When they are there he is the happiest kid in the world!!!

Dahl Family

We had our wonderful friends from Florida come and visit for a week. We all had such a fantastic time. The kids loved being with each other and playing non stop!

Witte Museum

Makena's field trip was to

the Witte Museum.

They had a good time learning all about science and animals.

Rylee's Kinder Field Trip

Rylee had a great time at the Rodeo. She learned all about animals and why they are important.
