Halloween 2008

Makena (7) is a rock star. Rylee (6) is a kitty cat. Ciara (3) is a fairy. Thane (1) is Peter Pan. They had a great time trick or treating and getting all the candy they could.

All boys love riding lawn mowers

We had a picnic at a friend's house out in the country. Randy and Thane were both drawn to the riding lawn mower and couldn't get enough. Randy drove the kids around on a "hay ride" (minus the hay) and Thane wanted to "drive" it all night long.

Sea World Fright Fest

We went out to Sea World for their Fright Fest. The kids had a great time. Rylee was the "bravest" when it came to the scary clowns and the werewolves. She was giving them her scary face and scaring them back.

Mandy in the MTC

Mandy was off to the MTC. She is going to serve in the Independence, Missouri mission. We had such a great time spending her last few days of "normal" life with her. We know that she will do a great job serving the Lord for the next 18 months.

Utah, here we come!!!

Thane and I had a great time in Utah visiting family. We were up there for 6 days and it flew by. We got a taste of some chilly weather and had to break out the long pants and sweaters.

Rylee turns 6

Rylee had a great 6th "Ultimate Bike Birthday". She is having so much fun living here with lots of friends close by. She is always playing outside and loves to ride her bike!

First Day of School

The first day of school for Rylee and Makena. Rylee started Kinder and Kena started 2nd grade. They are at Redland Oaks Elementary this year. Their teachers seem nice and energetic. It should be a great year.
